The Please Touch project was a collaboration between myself and colleague Caroline Claisse and two community partners: Museums Sheffield and Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind (SRSB). The project manifested in an exhibition called ‘Stories in process’ which ran from the 25th November 2016 – 11th December 2016
Our project explored tactility and reminiscence through 3D printed museum replicas, we used embedded technology to prompt memories and provide with our participants with an enriched and personalized reminiscence experience.
The exhibition ‘Stories in Process’ will draw together the creative process and highlight the different aspects of the project. It will extenuate the journey of the project and bring together multiple forms of interaction and tactility.
